My longtime musical co-conspirator Joel Shupack—known by the moniker Leo J.—introduced me to Danny Sherrill in 2010. I heard Danny's 'Mrs. Henry' and Joel's 'The Devil's Hand' both around the same time. They're in the same key, and they have roughly similar feels, so I felt it natural to mash the two together. The Dirty Words performed this version once, and it was so fun that I had to do it again.
